Relocation of the existing chemical metering pump and power receptacle. Installation of a new forced-air ventilation system, as well as waterproofing of the interior vault.

The City of Sonoma is requesting proposals to prepare a water rate study to update the 2018 Water Rate Study for the City of Sonoma prepared by Raftelis Financial Consultants in June 2018 (2018 Study). The 2018 Study recommended a program of increased connection fees and a series of commodity rate increases for fiscal years 2018-19 through 2022-23. The water rate and fee increase program was considered and approved by Council at a public hearing pursuant to Proposition 218 on August 20, 2018. Ther new water rate and fee increase program took effect on Septemeber 1, 2018.

The Chase Street Bridge Replacement Project involves the replacement of a structurally deficient bridge along Chase Street. The existing bridge is a 23-foot wide, 24-foot long two-lane structure, which will be replaced by a single-span cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete slab, 53-foot wide, 30-foot long concete bridge with 12-foot high abutments. The new bridge will have a new alignment consisting of two vehicle lanes with shoulders and sidewalks on both sides of the lanes. It will also include water and sewer facility relocations in addition to road approach improvements.
